Our Story
Noctelle takes its name from nocte — Latin for "by night".
Nightwear was either cheap or unwearable. So we made our own.
Most sleepwear falls into two camps: shapeless cotton that gives up after a season, or something beautiful you take off before you actually sleep in it. Nothing was built for the real hours — turning over at 3am, reading with the lamp on, the walk to the kitchen at dawn.
So we started making the pieces we wanted to own. Soft-touch satin that stays cool against skin. Lace that softens after the first wash instead of scratching. Straps that hold their shape. Seams that lie flat. Cuts that flatter without pinching.
What we care about
Hand-finished detail
Appliqué flowers, corded lace panels and gold-tone hardware are applied by hand, not heat-pressed. It is slower, and it is the difference you notice up close.
Small runs
We produce in limited quantities rather than warehousing thousands of units. It means pieces sell out. It also means nothing ends up in a landfill because we over-ordered.
Honest about what it is
Every product page tells you the fabric, the fit and the measurements — no vague luxury language standing in for facts. If a piece is satin, we call it satin.
Wear it to sleep. Wear it to stay up.
Noctelle is designed for the hours that belong to you — and for whoever you feel like being in them.
